We, often diagnose getting up in the midst of the night, as a normal problem in sleeping. Frequent such instances could point out to a serious problem in hand. The medical fraternity believes that every individual requires sleeping certain number of hour’s daily, depending on the age of the individual.

For babies this time could be 17 hours. For adults, this time could be around 7-8 hours of sleep! What is similar on each such situation is that a problem in sleeping can be caused by various situations that can be controlled by us!

The situations contributing to many a problem in sleeping are as follows:

  • Ambience of the bedroom
    After a long and tiring day at work, the bedroom seems to be the best place where you head. Imagine you to find your bedroom to be noisy at the time you prepare to take a nap. Not monitoring the temperature of the air-conditioner could also lead you to wake up in the midst of the night, shivering with cold.
  • Size of the bed
    Small beds, often causes a lot of disturbance in your sleep time. A problem in sleeping can often result from you falling from your bed just an hour after you caught forty winks. Apart from lack of sleep, you might have to be put up with broken bones!
  • Watch what you eat
    Irregular eating habits, especially in the night can result in you not sleeping properly. Statistics have revealed that close to 60% of sleeping issue cases have been tracked back to irregular eating habits of individuals.
  • Throw the butt
    Getting rid of some butt from your cupboard, will definitely improve your health. If anything, it will definitely improve your sleep time as smoking is identified to cause disruptions in sleeping.

A problem with sleeping can be due to one of the many reasons listed above. Whether it is one or a combination of many issues, individuals need to sort them out. Remember, the issues are basic and controllable!
