  • A history of emotional problems – If you have been reacting to situations hyper-actively, chances are your sleep could suffer. Medically it has been proven that insomnia along with high blood pressure could be fatal for a lot of people.
  • Where you sleep? How you sleep? – Questions like where you sleep and, you should ask how you sleep, if you wish to identify the reasons for insomnia. Accustomed to sleeping in a 90 Fahrenheit room, you could experience lack of sleep if one day, the temperature is moved to 100 Fahrenheit.
  • What are your work timings? – Working in the mornings all life, and suddenly changing your work routines to late evenings, could end up in you having lack of sleep. This could though result in you suffering from short-term insomnia, but prolonged exposure to irregular timings could aggravate the problem of insomnia.

Identification of the cause of insomnia is important, at an early stage. Not identifying the cause of insomnia early in the day could expose you to chronic insomnia.
